The La Quinta in Bridge City is very nice and we have some as you get further down 73 on into the GRoves, Port Neches, Nederland, Port Arthur area. |

If they wouldn't even call ya back, I wouldn't be pushin their hotel. I realize it's the "newest" hotel in the area, but it's not worth the price they're askin for. The places in Groves & Nederland are just as close to the ramp & closer to Keith's. |

The smart choice would be to have everyone stay at a closer hotel to my shop and boat ramp seeing that after the run we are having a BBQ and bonfire at my shop |

Will do Coe, i am off tomorrow and have some things to do so call me and remind me! They got a newly totally redone Motel over in Nederland which is about 10-15 min from the ramp if that. I'll check there also |

Yall obviously havent done the research on prices for hotels around here...that $79 a night at the La Quinta is about as cheap as your going to find it unless you stay in some shit hole motel. Also, I wouldnt recommend the microtel to anybody I know after it flooded during construction and when I went to inspect the foundation they were painting over the unbelievable amounts of mold on the wall. Not to mention when the hotel gets alot of guests their sewer system is not adequate and it backs up in the rooms alot. |

The next cheapest hotel in the Port Arthur/Nederland area is the Days Inn and Candlewood for $75 a night. Good luck finding parking for 10-15 boats and trucks at those hotels. http://www.hotels.com/search.do?destina ... RED%3AHIGH |

Just got off the phone with the La Quinta manager...the regular price of a room is $89 a night...I can get a block rate with 5 rooms or more of $79 a night. I checked hotels.com and their rate is $79 a night so either way your gonna pay the same. Trust me you dont want to stay in any of the hotels in Groves, I would not leave my rig parked over there for anything. |

What about the Holiday Inn Express, seems like a nice place from goolge reviews and hotels.com $99 a night I'd rather spend extra $$ for nicer place. Where's the valet at these motel
