Post Boat Flags
The ride is just around the corner and it looks like we are going to have a real good turnout. I am not telling anyone that they have to put a flag on their boat but I do think that it would be a good idea if everyone has a flag on there boat. We have had a few accidents while out there riding and with this many people the chances are better...so if you have a flag for your boat or you can get one I would suggest bringing one.

Keestan, this may help....

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=16152

Guys, the SETX crew has really done a great job getting this organized. There are a lot of levees and ditches you can run down and they all interconnect in a lot of areas making it very dangerous unless everyone is staying right behind each other...

If your able to pick one up please do. Safety first

I was right behind Keestan the day we came out of the ditch & somebody else was right there. Ol boy had 2 kids in the boat with him & that's all any of thought about when the 2 boats said "BOOM". Guys, trust me, it's a pretty fugged up feeling seein that. If at all possible, fly a flag, any flag.

Post Re: Boat Flags
Just rigged mine up earlier. 2 8 ft. Pieces of 1/2 in. Conduit, and 4 conduit hangers mounted on inside of ransom on both port & starboard side, with an American flag on one side, and a heritage flag in the other. Worked out purty good,if I don't say so myself. American flag costed me more than the materials. Spent a total of 8 bucks at Lowes. And 15 at wally world for the flag. So I should be good on the being seen part.
