 Subdudes
So, I know there are a lot of Louisiana boys on here. My question is how many fans of the group "The Subdudes" are out there?
I just got in from a show in Sandpoint, Idaho were the Subdudes opened and Boz Scaggs headlined. I went more to see the Subdudes than to see Boz. All I can say is that the Subdudes rocked it...we left before the end of Boz Scaggs set. Not that he wasn't good, but he wasn't good enough.
I have been waiting for years for the Subdudes to play this annual outdoor festival and they did not let me down!

 Re: Subdudes
Never heard of em. What kind of music do they play? Rock, country etc.

 Re: Subdudes
Thanks for your reply, craig. Apparently not many people know about them. They are Louisiana boys that do a bluesy, rocky, accordion / zydeco-tinged mixture of music. All with the tightest vocal harmony you've ever heard. Here is a link to their website. http://www.subdudes.com/bio-more.phpI have been hearing a song here, a song there, for years. Then I bought a CD, then another. They are even better live than in the studio.

 Re: Subdudes
Heard of them but I like a little heavier stuff. This used to be a favorite local band of mine to see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTNWczKWq1k

 Re: Subdudes
Thanks for the youtube links, Cap'n.
The Subdudes are a little hard to classify...they can rock it out or get bluesy. Their guitarist can flat out crank it. The show I saw had him playing all acoustic but he was still bending the strings like mad.
