 SubdudesSo, I know there are a lot of Louisiana boys on here. My question is how many fans of the group "The Subdudes" are out there?
I just got in from a show in Sandpoint, Idaho were the Subdudes opened and Boz Scaggs headlined. I went more to see the Subdudes than to see Boz. All I can say is that the Subdudes rocked it...we left before the end of Boz Scaggs set. Not that he wasn't good, but he wasn't good enough. I have been waiting for years for the Subdudes to play this annual outdoor festival and they did not let me down! |

Re: Subdudes Thanks for your reply, craig. Apparently not many people know about them. They are Louisiana boys that do a bluesy, rocky, accordion / zydeco-tinged mixture of music. All with the tightest vocal harmony you've ever heard. Here is a link to their website.

The Subdudes are a little hard to classify...they can rock it out or get bluesy. Their guitarist can flat out crank it. The show I saw had him playing all acoustic but he was still bending the strings like mad. |
