Post since duck season is upon us....
A lot of people start talking and telling stories, etc, etc, etc. Why is it that these mother fukers get these great leases and prime hunting spots and they go hunt and kill way over there limit and don't get busted. I would go out there and shoot one over my limit and the game warden would come down on me as if the world was going to end. I don't get it its hard enough to get leases down here and you got fukers like that shooting way over the limit....

Just pisses me off!!!!!!! You do the right thing and get screwed over and ppl fuk up and never get caught.

Couch session over... carry on

Not everybody that hunts leases goes over limit. I know that some people shoot until the birds stop flying but you can't assume that for everyone. We are really good at being legal on my lease. Pretty much out of respect for the ducks themselves, other hunters, and the law.

As far as people getting busted, its not secret that the GW shows up on public hunting spots more than private. But that doesn't make it right.

Trust me, whether you're hunting a lease or publically, most guys don't want certain groups shooting 5 times the limit.

I do not know about this year jp,I have been seeing far more gw's than I've ever seen before down here. Now if they do something about poaching thats another story.I have been hunting down here for over 25 years and the only time that I have ever been checked was walking out of the woods from a squirrel hunt. One time at the Caenarvon launch they had wildlife agents there but when they came up to us they wanted to know how many bass we caught, forkin biologist.

I love duck hunting way too much to kill over the limit and be banned for life by one of those wardens.

Oh, I am definitely agreeing that there are guys that abide by the law 100% of the time; Just aggravates me that some SOB's don't give a flying sheet and screw it up for others.

Alright, what about the well-heeled or unemployed that hunt 60 days a season. I hunt every Saturday (no Sunday hunting in VA) and every chance I can get a day off during the season. We've got 5/day for 60 days. That's 300 ducks. What the hell difference does it make if 5 Saturdays I shoot 15 ducks. It's NOWHERE near a season limit.

Don't worry, the Green Jeans don't follow my logic either.

Can't hunt sundays here in NC either. I'd trade my damn sundays for a friday off if I could during duck season. Also can't hunt after 4:20 pm, so by saturday afternoon i'm screwed til next saturday morning. Sucks huh.
