Re: Justin Hurst WMA Justin Hurst was a Texas Game Warden gunned down by a poacher just a few years ago. It was renamed in his honor. It is formerly known as Peach Point WMA.

Re: Justin Hurst WMA i hear you gotta get there real early to get a blind. From what i hear there is a pretty good amount of people that hunt there. my cousin goes there but i usually hunt around that area.

Re: Justin Hurst WMA I'm pretty close to that area right now..I'm in Port O'conner, driving down here I saw a few ducks. It looks like it would be a nice place to hunt.. How is the water bottoms here hard or soft?

Re: Justin Hurst WMA I live about 15 min. from the place. If you what to hunt you usually have to get there the night before and get in line. It use to be called Peach Point Refuge. If you like to walk, deal with young hunters sky blast'n, and swat skeeters all day this is your place.
