 New Boat Title Law
In the process of buying a new bay boat and just found out as of Aug. 25th you now have to also pay the LDWF for a title fee as well as the registration fee! I cant wait to see what else they gona come up with. Has anyone else had to do this yet? Buying the boat out of Mississippi, the guy at the dealer wasn't to sure about what all was involved.

 Re: New Boat Title Law
I dont have or ever heard of a title for my boat. All you got is your Hull ID and your registration. Also a title and registration for the trailer. Robin where you found out this?

 Re: New Boat Title Law
So you only need a title if the boat is valued over $2,500 and is financed. I don't finance my toys so I guess I'll neved need a title.
