......show pics, tell us about the hunt. Rubbing it in not necessary. Prick. Lol. Good job though on the hunt, and enjoy. I know I would be. Remember, woodies waiting for you.

Only just 12 oclock now. The wind has been steady all day. First thing we had mobs of 10 and 15 folding in but or shooting lacked the accuracy early.

Its come out fine with a breeze still and we've just been picking off 2 or 3 at a go.
Up to 26 now with 4 paradise ducks. So 5 mallards to double limit and 6 parries to limits.
Had a spoonbill land beside me in the decoys. We're running about 100 decs and a spinner and flashing splasher.
The dogs have been working hard finding birds with huge swims.

You Zealanders don't know how to set decoys. Create a 30 foot gap for them to land between your spreads right where the mojo duck is.

Nice pics!! They keep me going until our season comes around.

It's a beautiful thing! Ducks and geese are just starting to nest here.

Looks like a blue wing nocked up a spoony  cool birds for sure, one of the top birds i want to kill. Its weird how yall have a whole species over there that is a very rare hybrid here. I know someone who shot a hybrid here last year and it looked just like that, but smaller.
