 Chevrolet or Dodge diesel???
I have a 2011 f250 it's been deleted since the week after I bought it so I can't testify to reliability with all that EPA junk still attached, but you should definitely give one a try. The 6.7 is the best diesel ford ever put in a truck

 Re: Chevrolet or Dodge diesel???
Fords new 6.7 might be good but their frame sucks. Super duty trucks that is... https://youtu.be/_f3CAnH7WIM

 Re: Chevrolet or Dodge diesel???
The above YouTube link scared me on the Ford. I got my 97 powerstroke in a bind once and remember it flexed crazy too.

 Re: Chevrolet or Dodge diesel???
Idk about y'all but I don't make a habit of trying to flex my 9000lb diesel pick up, the 6.0 and 6.4 were made for ford by navistar/international the 6.7 is made in house and has been in use since 2011 and is twice the motor the 7.3 ever thought about being

 Re: Chevrolet or Dodge diesel???
Take any of them and strip off the EGR, etc. that the EPA requires and you will have a pretty good engine that will run forever if you do simple maintenance.

 Re: Chevrolet or Dodge diesel???
Why the worry about flex? Trucks are supposed to flex to absorb torque from hauling. Watch a semi take off from a stop sometime. They flex like mad and can they put multiple million miles on in a lifetime. Ford is just using a system that's proven.

 Re: Chevrolet or Dodge diesel???
Well I'm still dealing with the insurance company. However a local Chevy dealer has a 2015 chvy dmax sticker price at 61,000 with rebates it's marked down to 48000. So I call the Jim Falk dealer Wade mentioned. The salesman I spoke to is getting several trucks lined up for me to check out. When I told him of the mentioned price he said he could beat that price easy. Getting closer to a other truck. Stay tuned....

 Re: Chevrolet or Dodge diesel???
That's a pretty good price IMO. Mine stickered for 63 and some change and I ended up are 52500-53000 before taxes. I imagine that as they are getting closer to the 16s coming out, they will get cheaper and cheaper. There is another dealership that have me a pretty good price that may be close to you, I think it's Laura Chevrolet or Laura GMC. It may be worth a shot. However, I was told that once you got supplier pricing, that was pretty much as good as it gets besides the other rebates gm offers. They don't have a lot of negotiating room on new vehicles. heres mine since the last pic. Put on some toyo mts, tint, took off the mud flaps, and trimmed the valance on the front.

You already got some new skins? The rep at Jim Falks is working his rump off finding me a few to choose from. I prefer white like yours however I like that tungsten color too. I should be in mine within a few days. Then I will ranch hand it.

 Re: Chevrolet or Dodge diesel???
If you get a white high country by chance, I'll buy your factory bumper. Just a heads up, I'd lobby for the power fold tow mirrors when you're buying. They are only a $200 add on, but would cost you over 1200 if you decided to have them put on later.
