I am going to be heading to Myers Landing on Lake Arthur. Anyone know the depth of that lake? Is it mostly under 10 feet? Anyone catch crabs there or in Grand Lake? How is the cat fishing?

The river that runs in front of Myers is definitely deeper than 10 feet. Some big offshore boats pass there on their way to the shipyard in Mermentau. The crabs usually bite good at the Catfish Locks which is in Grand Lake. Also catfish usually bites on jugs with heart just about anywhere in the river from Myers all the way to the Icy canal. Also if the boats are not to bad in the Icy canal it is a good place to run jugs. Good luck.
