 Any Polaris Ranger owners??
My 2013 Ranger 800 XP needs some new tires, 12" rims. Everything on it is bone stock. What are you guys running and how do you like em? Not looking to snap axles, but our family land is getting pretty bad and getting back there is getting harder and harder. So looking to get a mud tire, these stockers suck.

 Re: Any Polaris Ranger owners??
I have a 900 and I'm leaving the stockers on it till they wear out. Then I'm going to get some all terrain radials on it. Something that will ride smooth and last.

 Re: Any Polaris Ranger owners??
All my brother runs is ITP mud-lites on his Ranger. They're not super aggressive but not hard on parts either. I think he runs the stock size. All his is used for is farming. Hauling feed, hay, etc. it's not a playtoy. I know he's gone thru two sets of them but he puts a lot of miles on his through muddy pastures and gravel roads.

 Re: Any Polaris Ranger owners??
I have a 700xp. I've been running 26" mud wolf tires on it for hunting WMA's and 28" mud lights in the rice fields. I put a 2" lift on my ranger 4 years ago and it has really done well. It's a 2008 and has only had 1 CV shaft replaced due to rice fields. Just have to keep the boots on cv's from tearing.

 Re: Any Polaris Ranger owners??
28 outlaw radials or mudlights are a good tire for what you want

 Re: Any Polaris Ranger owners??
I run 28" swamp lites on my Viking. The ride great and pull good but they do not last on asphalt. Plus they are inexpensive compared to other tires on the market I loved them for riding the club and property I would recommend 27s on the ranger they would be good and not to heavy

 Re: Any Polaris Ranger owners??
Nor a Ranger, but I'm running 28" Bighorn 2.0's on my Yamaha Viking. I'm loving them so far. Good traction in the mud and pretty tough on concrete.
Cool to see another Viking owner on here. And Cajun, does your Rhino have any clutch work done? I did some to my Viking after switching from the stock 25's to the heavier 28's and got all my power back and then some!!!

 Re: Any Polaris Ranger owners??
Actually had a 07 660 rhino, sold it to get a 10 teryx due to v twin and efi, then bought this ranger Cuz I needed a bench seat with the two boys. I ran 28 vampires on the rhino and would eat.

 Re: Any Polaris Ranger owners??
Are you wanting a good mud tire or something that rides decent and does okay in mud? There isn't a really good cross-over tire like they have in the truck world. If you're looking for something decent riding that does okay in mud get you some 28-30 inch mud lites. 2 inch bracket lift and you'll clear them. But if you're looking for something badass pick up some 29.5-31 inch outlaws or go with 30 inch gorilla silverbacks. The rangers are pretty heavy duty so you won't have troubles with axles. Clutch usually slips way before axles break.

 Re: Any Polaris Ranger owners??
If your going to go big and aggressive look at the mudder in laws they are built like a truck tire

 Re: Any Polaris Ranger owners??
Yeah considering outlaws, or silver backs in a 28's. I have a seperate set of rims, so this is mud only for our lease. When hunting g is over, I'll swap them back to the stock tires. These just don't cut it.

 Re: Any Polaris Ranger owners??
The mudder in law only in 30 or bigger also terminators have a more squared design for UTV's but nothing pulls like the outlaws and you have to give up the ride quality to get major pulling power
