Anyone hunting on or around the island south east of the atchafalaya delta?

I hunted it a lot several years ago with a friend that had a lease. We looked at a few open leases 2 years ago, but everything that was open didn't have any big water. I'm not sure what is open now. They have done well the last couple years. I've heard the guys out there have done well the last couple of years. Lots of teal and gray ducks.

I fish there a lot, but haven't hunted there in a long time.

Reason I ask is a may have an inside track on a few leases that will come available possibly for this year, even though it's here. We have one on Bateman island, but Bateman is silting up. Just gives us other options. Never hunted that far down.

Lot of killing on north side of point au fer. Most use airboats. On a good calm day U can here the gunfire when we are watching slick water around our decoys on delta. Lot of fog to deal with. Alligator bayou area is prime time red fishing after the hunt also.

Your pin looks like the area of the the judges land. Hard to even fish that area. Might be worth looking into. Hit me up if u get a chance to take a look.
