Post Re: Bringing back the turf discussion
I got 5 sheets of the B stock in grey. I got 3 cans of the spray glue from work and picked up two cans of the weldwood contact cement. I'm going to start at the front and work my way back until I run out. I'll order more and finish as needed. The B sheets are about $40ea without the backing. I can't see spending as much for the backing as the turf itself costs. Like I've said before, that'll buy a bunch of damn glue.

1 gallon of the contact cement is more than enough for an entire boat.

I picked up two quarts. I figured I'd do the main portion with the spray and contact cement the edges/corners, that seems to be generally the way everyone is doing it with or without the backing.

I don't have a really good pic of it but I just used the old anti fatigue mats from work that we walk on they don't get slick or hot in summer and I can take em out when I wanna clean them the best part is they were FREE

This is one pic of them they're about an inch thick the only downside is they hold a little water but I didn't glue them down so I just take them out and dry them ever so often
