This is a short video from when Stu was running his 1848 Alumitech in the Glades with me back in October. This isn't Lake Okeechobee but the vegetation is the same.

You can use the tools setting for 1080p playback.

Also, they aren't required by law on Okeechobee, but marsh flags are a really, really good idea. Lots of airboats and bassboats running those bulrush trails.

The turtle guy didn't make it very far. That was during the minimal regatta.

Some of those pics were from a marsh run from Scott driver ramp to Roland Martins. Then a hungover ride back the next day.

Hauling ass back, hungover stopping to puke once, took about 2 or 3 hours.

Frog... yep that is the wife. She enjoys the marsh runs where we stay the night at Roland Martins. The mosquitos at the tiki bar will carry you off in the summer though. After enough tequila they quit bothering you.

Would Labor Day weekend make more people drop out due to family obligations or would it make it easier on people who need to travel?

I don't care, but if you're worried about airboats on the water the weekend of Labor Day, I'd thik the same concerns would exist then, too.

I'm out there whenever anyway. Only 15 mins from my house. I have a few sporting events l for my kids that might interfere on March 29, April 4, 11, 18, 25,26, may 2, 3, 9, 16. May 22-25 will probably be on Captiva Island.
