 LSU
Rasco goes to LSU. Probably the most sought after player in the country. This kid is gonna be something to watch. Only high school player in LA history to be a starting player on a championship team as an 8th grader. Set national record for sacks as a sophmore.

 Re: LSU
Brad that is Mettenberger. He is enrolled at LSU already. They also got Stephen Rivers who is Philip Rivers' little brother. He will redshirt this year while Mett and JJ fight for the starting role.

 Re: LSU
dozrya there will be no fight for starting role. after watching some clips of mettenberger, i believe he will have the starting job hands down, especially with the new OC being a strong QB guy.

 Re: LSU
I'd still bet JJ takes the field first. And if he performs well, the next game too.

 Re: LSU
Well Mett hasn't played in the SEC yet. I bet JJ would look like a star at a jr college too. Either way I hope LSU has a strong QB for next year.

 Re: LSU
LSU's defense will be stout. They are young and athletic. It will be exciting if the QB position plays well.

 Re: LSU
x2 poker....he has shown some glimpses of being one bad arse mofo but also has shown to be no better than a jr.high QB. one thing he has going for him is he has speed and a strong arm. he needs to start using his head and get some accuracy and as you stated CONSISTANCY and he would be alright. the mettenberger kid is a prostyle QB with plenty accuracy and pocket awareness and an arm like a dayum rocket. seems to be smart with the ball, only thing is he doesnt have the speed that JJ does, but thats the trade off for being 6'5".
