All of this will eventually make it way into Lake Okeechobee. This is about 20 miles north of the lake. It is also a good video of a pretty nice truck getting a bit waterlogged.

I probably did not post this youtube link correctly though.

They closed the Kiss. River to boat traffic. The locks are wide open all the way down KCOL region....

Hopefully you're right. The lake was so dry for early teal that I could only hunt the outer edges of the marsh with a mud motor! Last year I could go anywhere but with at least another 6", I'll be able to get to my old spots. I can only hope all the water that fell on Florida this weekend makes it to the lake, if it does, it'll go up a foot.

I use to be a paying member over there but didn't renew. Maybe I'll join again. You know AJ, lockwings87?

i was down on the big O this May for a week bass fishen and was amazed at how low it was. Almost all the flats on the lower end were high and dry. It was our first trip down to the big O and we will be back again but i sure hope the water is up. I'm from S.C. and was amazed at how big the big O is and can not wait to get back down there.

What was that truck doing in the middle of that lake? And was that a 12 year old driving that tractor?

Heard on the radio today that Lake O is up and additional 2 feet bringing it to 13.55 feet. This is great considering that during early teal it was somewhere between 9-10 feet. So I'm thinking that all my old spots from last year should at least be accessible now but I won't know until I scout. Good news either way.

Went out on the lake this morning and all I can say is that conditions are ideal for a mud motor. The lake is completely accessible now with an average depth of 3ft in the south end marsh. I was running around all over the place with no regard for the main channels. It was awesome.
