GDSD handle?!?!
I know there are not many fans of the GDSD here but I have a simple question. When you all run your GD do you have your handle locked in or free floating? I always have mine free floating in case I hit a stump it won't rip my arm off but after watching all the YouTube videos it seems like most of y'all keep them locked in. Thanks in advance for the response!!

Re: GDSD handle?!?!
i leave mine locked. I took all the floation out of the back box and installed radio in it. The box is perfect size to prevent you from getting ur leg under handle. Also free floating sucks ass when running mud or lillys

Locked as well, kinda like my throttle cable was yesterday when i was going hunting. Guess it didn't like the cold weather, what a treat putting for 2 miles.

Re: GDSD handle?!?!
It's user preference. I keep mine unlocked at all times because if there is a log, I'm going to find it. I've had enough shin bruises that I no longer mind holding the handle way up when I get into grass.

Re: GDSD handle?!?!
Most of the time I left mine locked. If I run a stumpy area though, Ill pull that pin. No sense in letting it bang into your leg.

Re: GDSD handle?!?!
Locked in. The motor seems to float up out of no where when it was floating. I would be going down a river and it would just jump out of the water...

Re: GDSD handle?!?!
I like to keep mine floating when I'm running deep water or idling through stumps.
But since I usually have to go through alot of hydrilla and hyacinth getting there, I usually just leave it locked in position now.
