 16-44 go devil boat.....??? any of ya'll running a 16-44 go devil boat with a big block SD? I have a PD 27 now and it gets the job done (04 model, flotation taken out of the floor), but was wondering how a longer outdrive and possibly a big block 35 would do on it? I know the boat is designed for a long tail, but I really like the boat and wanna keep it. So, just wondering the difference in the longer outdrive? Also a big block? Thanks.

Re: 16-44 go devil boat.....??? I had a 1644 with a 31 hp MB Balanced Hyperdrive. It performed very well. I had a 35 hp carb and dual exhaust put on and it would run around 30 with just me. I had to add wedges to keep it from porpoising when running wide open.
