I'm interested in purchasing a double din sized head unit for a 2012 f150. I need in dash touch screen navigation, Bluetooth my music over from my iPhone, and hands free phone talking.

Anyone have one like this? Any suggestions, good, or bad experiences?

I like mine. The only issue I've had is that you can't hear when a text message comes in when you have the phone connected via bluetooth.

I'm sure I can find a good deal on which ever one I decide I want, my main question is, what specific models are good ones?

Spend the money for a brand you've heard of. Don't buy offbrand crap. Other than that, go play with them somewhere and get the one you like the most that has all the features you want. Jvc has a couple new models with a detatchable face which is nice. Double dins get stolen ALOT!

I like my Kenwood --- Pioneer makes another good one, The thing I like about the kenwood is that its the Garmin Nuvi GPS Software

I have one like this but its a couple of years old

This one also has a USB port that you can just plug a stick drive full of music in there

I have a 32 gig in my truck about half full of music

Oh, and I've been driving my brother's 2012 F250 some since I blew the tranny in my F250, and his has the back-up camera, and let me tell you that thing is the shit! Makes hooking up to a trailer a breeze. I'd look into adding a camera as well while your having that stereo put in.

I looked at a pioneer one just a second ago, looks like you still have to have a cable connected to play music off your iPhone. Do they make one where the music is bluetoothed over?

I've got a Pioneer Avic-X930BT in my truck. Added the backup camera and steering wheel controls when I did it. The Bluetooth works great for both talking on the phone, and streaming my music. And I haven't had anyone complain about an echo when talking.

The 2400bt, 3400bt, 4400bt, and 8400bt all have streaming capability. The avic-x940bt will do it also, if you want navigation.
I should be able to get a good price on the 940 or 2400. Shoot me a pm if you want me to check.

Description of the 940bt on Crutchfield says the only audio that will stream from an iPhone is Pandora, not music stored on the phone. Still have to har a cord to play off your iPod. Or am I misreading it?

I believe it will stream stored music. Streaming Pandora is a newer feature which is why its heavily advertised. Pretty sure if it can stream Pandora it can stream your regular audio files. I'm walking into a meeting, but I'll check when I get out to make sure.

Crews, my 930bt will stream stored music as well as pandora radio. Not sure about the 940bt.
