I dropped my Streamlight Stinger LED in the drink and didnt find it till afer daylight came and i was picking up decoys after the hunt. well it was shot. so i looked up an Authorized dealer/warranty repair and found Central Police Supply in downtown Houston. They carry everything Streamight. I walked in and no questions asked they took it apart and replaced everything inside except the battery(not warrantied(23 bucks)). In and out in 12 mins with my light working perfectly. Hot little messican chick did the work too. |

Mine has been dropped for oil tanks and left under water for 4 hours. Still works like a champ. But it's great to know if it does go south, the repairs are that easy to have done!! |

streamlights are great.. used to sell and service em. i actually have one that was under water for a few weeks for katrina and then left for months untouched in toxic sludge. the hardest part about repairing was getting the cap and lens off due to oxidation in the threads. wiped down with wd40, warrantied the light assembly/lens, and a new batt had it working like new!! definitely worth every penny and a lifetime buy as long as you dont loose it! |

I found a flashlight a while back in a parking lot. I pretty sure that it is a streamlight. It is an awesome flashlight but the other day my 2 year old was playing with it for a few hours when I wasn't home. Are the batteries in them rechargable? If so where do I get a charger? |

depends what model it is, most of them are rechargeable but they do have some models that require regular batteries. if it's a rechargeable it will have 2 charging connection spots, typically underneath the head or near the power switch. open it up and take the battery out and you should be able to see whether or not it's rechargeable. |

Try Grainger.com. They will have replacement parts, chargers, and batteries. Just put Streamlight in their search bar. |

I use mine constantly. Have had mine now for 5 years and got mine when the LED first came out. Its been upgraded now with the new style LED and is much brighter but it was always plenty bright. I use it as my Qbeam while running to go duck hunting, while walking the marsh to my secret spots, while frogging, while killing coons and around the house. I have dropped it several times in the salt water and thats what is causing it to corrode and leak. It has been to get fixed twice both free and the problem was the switch. thats where the water gets in and causes the failure. |
