I've been working my ass off the last 5 years working 2 jobs and finishing a bachelors degree and haven't had a true get away in a long tine. My fiancé and I are headed out to Aruba today for the next 4 days.

Anyone ever been over there?
If so are there any must sees?

Also, if anyone has emailed/called me in the last week about a boat or plans to do so the next 4 days I will get back to you when I return. Thanks for the patience.

You've earend a vacation and you've picked the right place. We've gone there twice for family holidays and will go again at year-end. Clean, safe, always great weather. Beaches are fantastic and are all public access. Friends have gone diving there and there are lots of dive outfitters along the hotel strip. There are not many tourist sights, you can cover them in a guided tour in less than a day. Shopping can be good in Oranjestad, though much of the jewelry shops are aimed at high-rollers off the crusie ships. However my daughters got some good deals on gold charms at Hibiscus in O'stad. Congratulations and have a good holidday!

Congrats Willett on your long awaited vacation. Though I have never been to Aruba my friends have and they loved it. They don't gamble so they get great deals[room and meals] at the casinos and then work outwards from there. Have fun and give us a photo summary when you get back.
