INTERESTING OBSERVATION 1. The sport of choice for the urban poor is BASKETBALL. 2. The sport of choice for maintenance level employees is BOWLING. 3. The sport of choice for front-line workers is FOOTBALL. 4. The sport of choice for supervisors is BASEBALL. 5. The sport of choice for middle management is TENNIS. And... 6. The sport of choice for corporate executives and officers is GOLF. THE AMAZING CONCLUSION: The higher you go in the corporate structure, the smaller your balls become. There must be a boat load of people in Washington playing marbles. |

On a related note about balls... Do you know the difference between Balls and Guts? There is a medical distinction... We have all heard about people having guts or balls, but few people know the difference between them. In an effort to keep you informed here are the defineitions: Guts- is arriving home home after a day out hunting, directly followed by a night out with the guys, smelling of beer, coming home to be met by your wife holding a broom and having the guts to ask, "are you still cleaning or are you flying somewhere tonight?" Balls- is arriving home home after a day out hunting, directly followed by a night out with the guys, smeling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the ass and having the balls to say, "you're next chubby". Hopefully this clears up the confusion on the definitions. Medically speaking there is no difference in the outcome. They both result in a near death experience. |
