Well when we all signed on to this site we had to choose a name, so what does yours mean? Mine, Walkers bay synd (syndicate) is the name of my hut. It was the name used by my Grandads friends when they built it. Walkers bay is the area they shot in. |

Have a banded green head on my wall. It asked for a user name and when I looked up, banded-mallard stuck. |

Mine is a carryover from the first internet forum I ever joined, Greybeards Outdoors, about 12 years ago. I signed up there to ask a question about a NEF 270 Handi-Rifle, and since then I've always used the same name on all forums just to keep it simple. |

When i was 3 i used to run outside when my grandad got home from work and say howdy Papaw from the time he got out off the truck til he got in the house so he still calls me howdy to this day |

Everbody goes by their last names in the marines , smith , jones , etc mine got shortened to Finn , then as they found out I was a crazy still got mud between my toes cajun it became Huck Finn, it stuck thru four years of service . 20 + years later im still a crazy got mud in other places cajun , just living in the great state of texas . |

I am (used to be) a bicycle geek...did triathlons, road races, crits, time trials. Used to hang out in some bicycle forums. Last bike I bought and still have is an Orbea "Orca"... And it's blue.
