Back when I had my CJ-8, I broke the AMC 20 rear axle. I had a mid 70's Dodge 4x4 dually that belonged to an uncle that caught fire. I had a local axle and frame shop cut the Dana axles down and fit the hangers to the Jeep. Dana 60 front and Dana 70 rear both with 4.11 gears. I even fit the stupid Dodge rear fenders to the Jeep and it looked stupid too. I ended up putting the NP435 granny 4 speed out of the Dodge in it mated to Dana 300 transfer case. That SOB would go anywhere and when you did get it stuck, it usually meant hauling the back hoe out to dig it out. I traded it for a '72 SWB Chevrolet with all 1987 Chevy FI 350 drive train.

I miss both those trucks, I'd kill to have either one of them now.

This idiot has passed me around ten times in the last year on I49 in Arkansas between Fayetteville and Van Buren. On his back window he has a picture of stick people having sex, and there is a caption above it that says something to the effect "F--k your stick people family".

No real man has such as this on his truck for people's kids, and women to see. I would love to follow him somewhere and slap the piss out of him.
