We cain't figure what got us the other day .... but up in the shallows .. mines partner and me both gots stung by somthin' that felt mo worse than a RedWasp and left a mark 'bout 1/2 to 1 inch long !!! I put the Google on it and cain't find nothin' !!!

Do any of ya'lls gots any ideas ????

I ain't shore ... but so far thats what I'm gonna call the little varmit !!

I've been wadin' and a swimmin' all mines life in the area lakes and I ain't never been attacked like we were the other day. It's gonna take me a long time to git over this dramatic occasions. Just thank ifin' that feller would have gotten into yore personnels !!! Just a bite/stang on the foot had us squealin' like a little biss girls !!!! :lol:

not sure. What I read said something like a needle type bite comparable to a mosquito. I be havin a half inch cut lookin thing, and hurt like hell. You get on of those on big boy, and you wouldnt even get in bath water no more!!

We was talkin' 'bout it this mornin' ... we ain't gots a clue what it was. Leave that mark 'bout 1/2 inch with no swellin' or redness ... but burn like heck when it gits you !!!

This thang might be some kind of invasive bug that bio-fellers not know what is yet !! We mite be on the brink of makin' history with a new bug and we gonna be famous !!! Git to name it ourselves and git our names in the college books and cool stuff like that !! I gots to go and talk to the lawyer man and gits me a pattend. I thanks we be the first to be attacked like this ......... Hey LilCats ...... We gonna Famous !!!! :D

Brooks what you desribed bittin you sounds like a shumungapod. You better go get checked out by your doctor. Tell him a shumungapod bit you so dat he can treat you properly. These things have a delayed venom. It will look like it is OK and gettin better then two weeks later BAM da poison sets in. It can be deadly if not treated properly. However death is rare it usually will just result in an amputation.
