Cerakote makes that 1800 degree coating, I went to highschool with a friend that owns a powdercoat company and he also does cerakote coatings. The more I get the cheaper it will be. If we can get a few it will b around 30 dollars each to get blasted and coated. I live n the houma area, so I rather u b close enough for u to drop it off and pick it up. I will fool with shipping if u ship it to me, and send a return label where I just have to drop it off at ups. I need to know if anyone is Definatly down, and don't say u r if ur not. Once I see how many people r down, ill get an exact price. It will def be 35.00 r less. So... With that being said who is in? |

I have several guns coated with cerkote and I know nothing bothers it I soak one of my rifles in brake cleaner and it doesn't hurt it at all so if it holds up to the heat will have no worries..... |

This is the burner, coated with cerakote chromex 1200 degree coating. ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21366748786.642983.jpg 2 full boils, and it's still there. Just dull. Now I repeat this is a 1200 degree coating. He has a 2000 degree flat black coating he will use for the exhaust, but he is trying to see if there is a higher temp than the 2000 degree. it will stop rust completely. i cant promise anything about the mud tho. i mean it cant be no worse than stock, but if its hot its hot ya know? he did say if mud was to bake on, and u couldnt get it off u still dont have to worry about the moisture penetrating the coating and causing to rust. he said cerakote barried a barrel for a year, and dug it up, rinsed it off and it looked like the day they had buried it. my last one rusted out at 28 hrs, ur not that far away |

i have about 100 hrs on mine.. i tryed to spray it down with wd40 after each use but it got a good big of mud on it for nutria season |
