My Cajun veterinarian cousin had 14 children. What do we do about a single mom with 15 kids...I would not be opposed to involuntary sterilization under certain egregious situations, but I'm not sure this woman would qualify. Just because she's a freeloader, doesn't mean she's neglectful of her children or that they are in danger. If she were a drug addict or her children were in danger, I would say take them away and sterilize her if she cannot rehabilitate. But its too late for that now. I'm in the process of permanently terminating a mother's parental rights for drug addiction.
