Justin Hurst was a Texas Game Warden gunned down by a poacher just a few years ago. It was renamed in his honor. It is formerly known as Peach Point WMA. |

i hear you gotta get there real early to get a blind. From what i hear there is a pretty good amount of people that hunt there. my cousin goes there but i usually hunt around that area. |

I don't know much about the place except it is real close to Seadrift where Sanders shoots most of his mallards.

True Story. I shot two mallards last year. Both double banded, and both in Seadrift!!!!! |

I'm pretty close to that area right now..I'm in Port O'conner, driving down here I saw a few ducks. It looks like it would be a nice place to hunt.. How is the water bottoms here hard or soft? |

I live about 15 min. from the place. If you what to hunt you usually have to get there the night before and get in line. It use to be called Peach Point Refuge. If you like to walk, deal with young hunters sky blast'n, and swat skeeters all day this is your place. |
