After reading about mud motors on this forum for the last few weeks we have decided on which ones to get. I had the pleasure of having someone show us the Prodrive this morning and we are getting 2 of the 36 hp.
After reading about having to adjust the reverse and having to hold the lever down so it doesn't burn up or get hot we wanted something close to an outboard motor and the Prodrive was the answer.
There won't be any modding on these 2 motors. In fact I don't even open up the 25hp Yamaha I now have. So it will be nice and easy being able to get where we need to get.
BTW, I can't see how the owners of Gatortail lets some of you'll talk about the gatortail so much. It sure made us look at another product because of all the so called bragging that some do on the gatortail. I always heard and it has proven itself again that when you are scared of your competition you try to put it down and brag about your stuff.
The way the Prodrive owners are doing on this site will continue to sell more prodrives and the owners shoud be proud of their customers.
From what I seen on this forum the gatortail guys(cheerleaders ) will attack me but I don't need to answer to any of it because the damage has already been done.

I can tell you, you will be very happy with your purchase. I have many friends with PDs and there is not one thing i can say bad about them. It all depends on how your going to use them. a GT fit my application better so I went with them. i wish you the best of luck with your motors. you will not regret your choice one bit.

You made a good choice. But a GT is a good choice too. I'm sorry you feel dat way, but I'm sure once you see a GT operate and meet some of da so called cheerleaders you will feel different. You really can't go wrong wit either motor. And I personally don't think it's a wise decission to spend dat kind of money just from what you hear on da iternet. You know dem two (GT and PD) are right down da road from each other. You could have test drove boat of dem. But like I said PD is a great product and you won't be disappointed.

But hey that is your choice good luck and if you ever want to go ride we have a good # of guys on here that get together no matter what brand you have and tear some shit up!! The statment you made about the GT is way off but hey good luck with your purchase!! And buy the way i am the head cheerleader!! So when ever you get those 2 rigs holla at me and we can hook up and go get in a little mud and you can watch the GTR smoke a little AZZZZZ!!!!
