What do you guys use to patch the seams on waders? Mine are fairly new but I get a lil damp around my sack when I get in deep water. Wonder how a can of the flex seal would work on waders? Surely it would work on wader seams if it'll seal up a boat with a screen door in the bottom of it ![]() |

i have tried flexseal.. it cracks when the neoprene folds and what not. i've kinda decided that when waders start leaking it's just time to get a new pair. There's really no permanent way of sealing them. not one that i have found atleast |

Make sure you keep the gorilla glue away from dogs. They like the taste and it is devastating to them |

100% silicone or aquaseal. I have an old pair that are pretty much all calk that I use for early season where I know I will punch a hole in them. These northern beavers are experts at making punji sticks. |

Throw em away and buy a new pair. Trust me I've tried everything and put a good 2 inch wide bead on all the seems inside and out with about 4 different products on my lacrosse and they still leaked. I spent many hours on it. Huge waste of time |

Yea Med, just throw them in the trash and buy a new pair. Just put them in the back of my truck on 4th st., and i'll be sure and put it in my dumpster. |

We use np1 caulk on all the roofs that we work on and my dad put some on his lacrosse waist waders and it lasted about 4 or 5 years until he had to buy another pair. It's a polyurethane caulk so it flexes. He put it all around where the neoprene meets the rubber on the boots. Or if you had some money laying around get the mpw grand prairies. Had mine for about 3 years and I've never had a problem with them. |

I went through 3-4 pair of em in 3 years, even with the new seam sealing system. |

Tire patches and shoe goo. I was just thinking about how that aqua seal works. I hav an old pair of waders that are starting to crack at the top of the boot. I dont know how the shoe goo will work on that spot. |
