I just talked with the old man and the story got brought up. I was to young to hunt and my dad went out by himself. I was chomping at the bit waiting to see what he brought home. He finally got home and opened the cooler and said "your dad did good today." I asked what they were and he began to tell me they were some kind of rare goose. The next day his buddy came over to see. I was in the house and I heard the guy yelling. I walked into the garage to see what the fuss was about. The guy was laying into the old man about how illegal it is to shoot loons
