I drove down from Natchitoches this morning and get a few hundred yards from work and a guy that is backing out on to the road took me out. I figured he seen me so I just kinda moved over to the other side of the road. Well he didn't see me. Ended up caving the side of the bed in messing up the bumper and tail light. Crushed boat trailer fender and slid the axel back about 2 foot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The guy was real apologetic and the first thing I asked was if he had insurance and he does so it is all good. Scratched the boat up some also so I'm try and get a paint job out of the deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You know some people think they are fine at the scene of the crash but the pain from whiplash sure can creep up on ya some times 3-6 hours after an accident occurs. But for the biggest payoff you've got to flop like a fish at the scene and take that ambulance ride. |

Yea i wonder if Dean could give me a ballpark number on how much i could get? I know it won't be as much as his other clients because I'm not dark enough but he could prob get close. |

i just wish the insurance guy would hurry up and come look so i can fix my boat trailer. Its kind of hard to pull it down the road when it is tracking to the right 3-4 feet. |

Looks like the carb and heads need to get checked too. Looks a little offset from the pic. Probably only fix would be a mikuni and some new heads. Sent from my bag phone. |

Your supposed to fall on the ground and say "oh my insurance hurts - I mean my neck hurts" From experience you won't get much money off this collision since no one was in the hospital. The insurance company will send an adjuster to look at your truck and boat. They will offer you a settlement early which might look good but low ball later when you go to fix it. Just tell em to fix it and make sure you don't sign anything until it's all done right. If it's a good insurance company they might get you all fixed up right the first time. Use your insurance company as an advisor or have them fix it and then they will settle up with the other guy. I was in uniform on my police bike when I got hit. Totaled out my bike. 5 days in hospital 3 months of rehab. 8 months later I got all my medical bills paid and had 16k to compensate the time I was out of work. The rest went to the lawyer and hospital and new bike. |

Well insurance cut me a check for what they think its going to cost to repair the truck (a few hundred low of what i was quoted). Im still waiting on the check for my boat and trailer. |
