I'm wanting to clean up my big boat to get it ready to sell. Wanting to remove some oxidation and haze. Thought about spraying it down with Alumabrite then hose off. I did this with my hull my kawi is on but it was on the ground getting ready for paint. My big rig sits on a tandem axle galvanize trailer. I wasn't sure if the alumabrite would mess up the galv trailer of not. Anybody do this with success? |

I've did it on a galvanized trailer with no problems. However I did rinse the trailer right after spraying. I didn't let it sit on there. |

Only thought of this because I could put it in a pump up sprayer. The hull is too damn big to hand clean. A EFI 225 pushing a 21'8" aluminum rocket. ![]() IMG_2880.JPG |

It might etch it a little but shouldn't hurt it. Keep the trailer wet when your putting it on there. Sent from my beeper |

"The Works" toilet bowl cleaner. Do a small section at a time. It will eat off the galvanize if left on to long. Shit will start smoking. Stains will just run off. Also works on stains on the boat and doesnt hurt the paint like it will the galvanize. |
