Does anyone have any experience with the 25 Robin? I have a buddy wanting to get one but is wondering about speed. It will be going on a 1454. Will only be running 2-3 people and a few decs. Any ideas on speed and holeshot? Not sure what prop it comes with. |

1554 pushed by the robin. Same speeds as above. I love it but I hunt alone or with one other. It's not made for 3 people and a hunt load unless you have lucrcrcrs hull. |

It's plenty good for me. I don't have to screw around with a carb, it starts easily, and in my opinion the Robins are better built motors than a Briggs based on what I've seen on small equipment. |

A 1454 is a bit short for that motor. The width should help with the draft from the weight of the motor though. |

The motors performance is very dependent on the particular boat it is on. Very broad performance seen from boat to boat. Unless your hunting HP restrictions, you will always benefit from more displacement. |

I had asked the federal warden about it and they just looked at me like I was retarded ... 1860 with twin 25 would tote the mail for sure |
