 another HEVI STEEL rant
I know there was a thread posted a while back about the wads sticking in barrels in freezing temps. this is not that. I was shooting it on sunday and my gun jammed. thought it was weird but didn't really pay any attention to what happened because my girl was chasing rats. finally I started to work the shell out and it wouldn't budge.. thought it was weird. so I started looking around inside the slide and the primer had come out of the casing and wedged between an un shot shell and the receiver. after the first recall and now this... I will no longer purchase these shells. if that primer was loose, no telling how many more are and if its to loose, that could cause a bad day.

 Re: another HEVI STEEL rant
I bought two boxes for this past weekend. They seemed to hit pretty hard to me. I liked em no problems.

 Re: another HEVI STEEL rant
I have shot a case of "Heavy Metal" last year and "Heavy Steel" this year...
One consistent issue i noticed with them is where the shell is crimped. Its not many, maybe 4 shells out the case...But have had to chunk a few due to the crimp being bulged out. They wouldnt load...

 Re: another HEVI STEEL rant
I have shot plenty of boxes of hevi metal with no issues, its the hevi steel that's giving me hell. the same thing happened to a buddy of mine that bought the shells the same day as me at the same academy. maybe just a bad batch but I wont buy em again.
