Who all in here runs a level, or small lift and 35s? I have a 2012 ram with bilsteins maxed out up front and I plan to put 35s sooner or later.. My stockers are getting low on tread and Ive been in a few situations where I wish that I would of had bigger tires already… For those who do… what cons did you see in switching to a 35? I also plan to go down in rim size from a 20 to an 18.. Post pics of your rides! |

SO I just asked what that was….. Dean, I'm going to be as mature as possible with this…. You are a democrat who believes that if one person makes a lot, he should share it with the rest.. ******. Im not racist, because ****** can be white black purple or green for all I care.. but you of all people have no place to say something like that. For your information, Im 22 years old and pay for each and everything I have except for college, which is taken care of by federal grants.. My father is not in the picture and my mom was laid off at the end of last year.. she helped me with school when me and her were both paying instead of grants and that is it. Ive worked my ass off paying for what I have and getting through school.. Im now a year from graduating and have already gotten a job as a piping design engineer here in Tyler, and also had 2 interviews which were almost back to back with an even bigger and better company as a piping and process engineer at integrated flow solutions which I'm hoping I get a phone call from at the first of the year. I worked to get here on my own and with little to no help. Thats something I know you don't understand but believe it or not there are still those who aren't sponging |

Sorry, I had a 2011 2500 with a 2" leveling kit and 35s on 18" rims. It needed different control arms to fix the rubbing issue or different offset wheels. My experience with half tons is you'll need more than a leveling kit to fit 35s. |

I run 35's on everything You lose a couple mpg's and a little ride quality but it's worth it. I wouldn't run any other tire than the Nitto trail grappler. |

Not sure you can fit 35s with a level kit. Mines a 08 1/2 ton. 33x 12.5 x18 . Had to trim the stock plastic in the wheel well. It will still hit if i flex to much. I got rid of the 20s as well |

My truck is a 2011 Chevrolet drama and looks and sits just like Micahs. I have a Cognitive leveling kit, bilstein shocks and 20" rims with Nittos. I kept my factory 18s for my winter mud tires. |

Applying and receiving federal grant money for school is getting something for free Brasso. Same as getting food stamps, Medicaid. It is a government handout. Wut about getting free money from the government is not a handout? I am paying for your schooling while u spend money on big tires and rims for your truck. Get a life kid and quit sponging off the American taxpayer. |

Brasso, above u said your father was not in the picture, but in the 5.0 thread last night u mentioned your dad likes his truck. Take a look. Wuts up with that? Is this another pro-staffer type mid-speak. |

I don't know Brasso personally an I have no reason to defend him. However, there is a big difference between Federal grant money/endowments and need-based funding for education. The federal govt steers the course of what career paths and educational paths students take by what areas this grant money is made available in. If students take the path of engineering in gas/oil exploration/development because they can get grant money and put 35s on their truck, then the govt has actually accomplished their goal with the grant money---because he is now studying in the desired field and will work in that field. If he was lying and crying poor for need-based scholarships then I'd agree with you. But unless you know what type of grants we are talking about then I would probably bite my tongue. |

If your going to go with the Toyo open country look into the atturo trail blades. Iv ran both brands and there are no differences the than the atturo are cheaper. Iv got 7 thousand miles on my trail blades and the are holding up a little better than the toyo's. |

I ran them on my 2005 F150 for about 4 years. 315 x 70r18's Nitto Terra Graplers. The rubbed a bit but weren't terrible unless I was offroad and then they rubbed a lot. I went back to 33's in BFG's. I prefer what I'm running now because of gas mileage and noise. They both perform equally well in the mud. |
