 Finally.... Well the day has finally come and its only been 10 years in the making.... 5 years ago I made the move from jon boat with an old used outboard to a used longtail. Today I made the move from a used longtail to a brand new surface drive!!
Goodbye 20HP Beavertail on a 1436 Gruman that was made when I was in high school, and hello brand new 35hp GDSD on a brand new GD 1844. I ordered the round chine with a split bench so it will probably be another 6 weeks until I pick it up.
This wait is worse than knowing last year I was one year away......

Re: Finally.... The 18x44 is an awesome hull! I have one with slick sides... Narrow enough to get in tight spots, long enough to carry a load
