I know I'm going to start something here but I'm really interested in hearing what u guys think about these two M-motors. I really want to here from people that have had both and what they liked and disliked about each. I have a excel f4 shallow edition with MB Black Death and love it, but this is the only rig iv owned and I have only had it for a year. Can't wait to see this play out |

If you're asking this you must be having doubts about your rig. The best way to see what rig setup dominates is to attend a mud run where all makes, models, sizes, etc. are side by side in the same conditions. I know MANY people...and I mean many people who have owned MB in the past but now run either GT or PD. I don't know anyone that switched the opposite way though.. |

If you like your motor keep it. MB did a good job on the HD. |

The reverse feture is prolly the reason most switch and then there is the customer service other than that the motor you have is a great motor I've seen them in action nothing bad to say |

I have had both. I ran Mudbuddy for 8 years. I had the HD sport and did the mods to it. It was a 5500. The controls on the handle was really nice. I didn't have many problems with the frame except that the handle broke in half at the mounting plate while at full throttle early one morning. Was almost a bad deal. The best speed I could get was 33 light boat and 31 loaded. That was on a 17-54 excell. I figured I'd try the GT and I have to say the reverse is the big selling point. The other thing that I like is how the GT frame sits on the transom. It seemed easier to dial in to the boat. The GT controls took me some getting use too but now it second nature. I also like the fact that you can access the clutch and reverse planetary very easy. The belt can also be adjusted easier than the MB. Now MB has more performance parts available and different gear ratios. I don't have any experience with the H or V series motors. |

Those are some good tips on reviewing but i also feel like if you don't like the topic you just don't read it. I'm not sure y you cant ask for a review on the review page? |

Because this part of the forum is not for questions, it's for actual, first party, owner reviews. That template is stickied right at the top of this section. Put there by the owner of the website as a guide on what this part of the forum should be used for. This section is all cluttered up with dumb shit like this making it damn near impossible for someone to browse and get good information from actual owners. |
