For those who have a Center console, do yall put yalls speakers in the console or bow? Reason I'm asking I'm wondering which would have a better sound. I know speaker quality is a big part too but I'm jw which spot would sound best. Any input would be great ! |

I would imagine in the bow facing you would be the best for the driver. |

Will be a 19' boat. You don't think that would be to far off from the console ? Iv seen people put there speakers on the side or in front of there consoles. I think in the bow would be great when running but in front of the console would be good too if your fishing on the bow. I'll have 2-18 gal gas tanks in front. I know a lot of people have the wet sound speakers but I'm thinking of getting something simple and cheap to replace if the speakers go out. |

I dont think it's going to make a nickel's worth of difference.... You entering this thing is some sound competitions? Get a decent speaker setup and mount them where it's easiest to get to when they (do) take a shit on you. I personally hate anything louder than my phone playing music in my shirt pocket when I'm trying to fish and even then it's turned waaaay down. But where I fish it's usually dead quiet. If I fish with another person we don't even have full volume conversations. Keep it real low, and the music is quieter than that. Just my two pennies. Two 18gal tanks?! You planning on running drugs to Cuba or something?? |

Lol no ! From my house to my blind is an hour ride. Plus my boat will be staying in a boat lift most of the time. So it's nice to not fill up every time I take it out. Daily 4-5 hours. Me and my family enjoy boat rides ! So we tend to run all over the place. That brings me to my question about the speakers. My wife enjoys the loud music while we are riding or on the beach . I honestly could care less about getting speakers ! It's my wife's demand for the boat not mine . |

Yep you got that right. Those that disagree are divorced !!! She's ok with me getting a new rig but had to have a seat infront of the console and a sound system. Lol maybe I can put them facing foward on the so role so it will round out the noise lol |

Ear buds. That way no one else needs to hear your music since they are trying to get outdoors to get AWAY from city noise. |

Putting the speakers in some type of small, solid enclosure will dramatically enhance the sound quality. Even if you put them in the deck, building a small box around the speaker itself will help out a ton with the lower frequencies. |
