I have a few sheets of aluminum lying around as well as tons of drops from my boat builds and I'm considering making a crawfish pot, basket and burner setup. I have the standard shit that I've been using for years, but the older I get, I'm looking for easy shit. :lol: Any of you have any good plans for a pot & basket set up that the basket hinges and dumps the crawfish. The only one that I have seen, and it was very brief, was a rectangle style that hinged and dumped them in a shoot that was connected to the pot. So what you got.

I have seen em half round also and they seem to do well.

The most practical way to do em is have a jacket around the pot that has about a 2"-3" space in between the pot and the jacket that way you don't loose any heat if y'all can understand that.

It's not there are notches cut out it rides in where you can fully remove the basket
