After Easter the price usually drops. I used to eat them all the time but refuse to pay $4 a pound live or $6 a pound boiled. They are good but not that good. I'll just go get a ribeye rack for $8 a pound and eat a big steak.

It is worth for me to pay a little extra. Last time I had them was when I used to go down to Venice. I am trying to get my neighborhood men to man up a little more. I have been introducing them to new cool outdoorsy shit lately. I am sick and tired of hearing about which golf club is the best. I usually have a fish fry once a week on the summer and have about 20 to 30 people over. Thought I would mix it up a little. I bought a sack of live from Randall's Fine Meats in Monroe,La saturday for 3.85 a pound.

I ate crawfish last week. I had 3 lbs and I'm a Yankee. I'm just a little guy though. I'd say 3lbs per person should be more than enough if ladies and kids are included.

3.49 a pound at dennis' in Metairie before Mardi Gras, went to rouses today and they were 4.79. Always about 50 cents higher per pound for them at Rouses though.
