Not mm related.. But a friend of mine is selling his very nice, low hour 1988 3 cyl. 2 stroke 65 evinrude tiller. I want to buy it from him but I'm concerned it will be too much for my boat. The boat is a tracker grizzly 1648 tall transom. It says it's rated for 50, and its had a 2 cyl 55 on it for a while that did good. But the 65 weighs a good bit more than the 55. if any of yall have any experience running bigger tiller motors on a similar sized boat I'd really appreciate any feedback. |

I had a 14x48 custom hull with a 55 evinrude tiller for a while. I think you'll be fine with a 16x48. |

Search around the duck forums for a guy who goes by "jehler" he will tell you there's no such thing as overpowering. Dude knows his shit when it comes to outboards that are allegedly too big. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
