I have an 07 with the 6.7 and I put the h&s on mine with egr delete and 4"exhaust. It's a single cab with a custom welding bed and a lincoln 200 on the back with all my tools and what not. Im getting 16-17mp. Was about 5 less before programmer. I would suggest going ahead and putting an air dog system on it as well.

My 3500 6.7 has been de-epa'd with a 5" straight back. Does 25 mpg cruising 70. The guy that did it told me to keep the tuner on "race" mode and just keep my foot out of it.
It voids the warranty when you do this though.

PPEI (Kory Willis) is the go to guy. When I was lead tech at Hurricane Offroad in Lake Charles we got 90% of tuners from Kory. He has tons in stock H&S or his personal line as well.
I've got tons of experience with these rigs. Honestly all you need to do is BLOCK the EGR, no need to remove it unless you have to have that. Tune the truck Unplug the EGR motor, the EGR servo on the EGR cooler, and the plug at the EGR throttle plate, then replace the exhaust. To remove the exhaust you have to pull the trans cross member to remove the stock head pipe that bolts to the factory downpipe. Also unplug any and all sensors in the exhaust stream and tie them out of the way. Be careful unplugging the DEF injector in the exhaust they are typically a plastic coupling. Install new exhaust and have fun.

Also if you go with a 5" it is a VERY tight fit between the trans cooler lines and the stock frame rail/ trans cross member. Its a chore to keep them from rattling. Also all the talk about 25 MPG is a lie... The computer may show that much mileage but it is only calibrated to read factory fuel maps that's why you see crazy high numbers. 17-19 is believable depending on the setup. Hand calc numbers are the real numbers with a correctly calibrated speedometer.

Get kory Willis you will pay about 600 for joeys tune and you will pay about 2200 for a h&s and will have to keep updating it

So...kory willis sounds like the man.
egr, since its to do with the exhaust, im gonna guess its exhaust gas recirculator?
Wtf is dpf delete? Is that the shit u gotta pour in? Mine is 2010, u dont have to put that additive,
so i guess i dont need dpf deletes?
told yall i didnt know too much about this.

That's DEF fluid

You still have the DPF filter in your exhaust 2007.5 ^^ You can tune with emissions in place or without. Far better gains without but not legal.

Sooo.....def is the fluid u add, which i dont have.
egr and dpf are in exhaust? Dpf is a filter? If i change exhaust, i will need these deleted? Unplugged?
blocked off? Or what?
it would be soo much easier if i could just bring it to jamieb up da road!

Good thing is that def filter is worth some big bucks. The dodge one will sell for 600 bucks, gm goes for 350. Can pay for exhaust with that. As for tunes efi live is where its at, you get a tune for your truck, not everything under the sun.

Post subject:  Re: diesel programmer

Not sure why but that efi live was kinda the way i was leaning.
With efi live, i still need someone like willis to tune it... correct?
Who buys the def filter thats in the exhaust?
and finally...is efi live dpf and egr delete capable?

Dammm this is confusing shit!

I guess its like the mudmotor...exhaust first right?

Yes, they can turn off egr and dpf with efi live. I had mine tuned by Rob coddins aka Idaho rob at adrenaline truck performance. He has been tuning Dmax for over a decade and was one of the first to start tuning the Cummings via efi live. As for exhaust buyer I can look up his number if you need it.
