...I lost my dad. I didn't post anything at the time but it's been a year and I still miss him like it was just yesterday that my mom called me. Time has flown by and in some sense it still doesn't feel real. I go through different phases. Sometimes I'm sad, sometimes mad, sometimes lost. I'd give anything to talk to him one more time. And it doesn't help that only 10 days ago my 33 year old brother was killed in a motorcycle accident. The last year has been tough and I'm figuring I'm sure for some good news.

Frank, Best thing to do is think about the good times yall had together. Its hard to let go, but you have to my boy. He wouldn't want you upset all the time. Trust me, I know the feeling. Lost my dad and mom when I was all of 8 years old.

Very sorry to hear. Life sure does take some lousy twists and turns at times. Keep plodding along, it gets easier.

It gets tough with all kinda of feelings balled into one. I had a year like that a couple years ago. The one year was not as hard as the second but I think it kinda crept up on me.

The best advise I can give is remember the good times, and appreciate the ones in your life right now and everyday.

My dad died 9 years ago May, 1. My wife and kids never even met or saw him. I'm sorry to hear about your brother.

Time is the only thing that makes it any better.

I lost my dad three years ago , and just like you , Id love to talk to him one more time. It does get better, it just take time.
