Cool video. I watched one at a carnival when I was young. The guy running the game made it look easy. Always wanted to try one since.

I would absolutely hurt myself on that thing. I know stuff like that and it melts your brain (turn your mouse around and try and work it).

I would have ridden it in less than 10 minutes. I could do the upside down mouse in 2 seconds! I've always been messed up in the head. lol

I am right handed. I cannot draw worth a damn. It's because the same effect expressed by the engineer in that video operates to influence how you draw. Your brain is locked into preconceived patters of what a face should look like and your brain forces you to draw a circle. I thought, while I was avoiding studying some constitutional law in law school one evening, what if I tried drawing using my left hand. Would the link forcing me to draw preconceived images be broken? At first it was difficult, but with patience and a few days of trying this, I was able to draw a damn good pencil drawing of the deer head hanging on my wall. I was shocked at how good it was. It was so mentally exhausting, though I never did it again. Just knowing that and experiencing it made me realize exactly what that engineer was talking about.

I remember something else about that experience. It further helps to break the link if you draw it upside down.

If I tried that bike, I'd be meeting some nice medical personal.

I tried to ride one of these last year. The guy that has it uses these to help young men and women in Dallas beat drug addiction and and bad bad choices they continue to make in there life. He walked up to a table we were eating breakfast at and we asked him about the bikes. He said " I'll pay you 100 dollars if you can ride it 20 yards with out putting your feet down" so it was on. Everyone at the table tried it and nobody could. He said it usually takes two or three weeks before someone can ride it and navigate around objects.
