Hello everyone. Great site with tons of info. Been lurking for some time and now In the market for a small rig to run the rivers and marsh. I have been waterfowling for the past 26 years and would like to get some new areas that our current outboard rigs can't get us to. Their new 14x50 looks like it could work nicely. What is everyone thoughts on what motor? Was thinking about a backwater. Any opinions on the marsh series? I know it is a new boat and all, just need something small and stable to hunt two guys and my dog and possibly a third person sometimes.

A lot of people really like the backwater motors. The boats look pretty cool for small water situations and it should float in next to nothing. A 23 or 27 would probably match up pretty good to that boat.
