Well, I received a call today from my sister asking if I had contracted with a roofing company to replace the roof on a rental house owned by our family next to my 90 year old mother's place. My mother noticed roofers removing the old shingles and replacing the plywood underlayment. My sister drives there to investigate and calls me. I had not ordered a new roof. The roof was fine. The contractor's crew chief showed her the order. They had the wrong address!!!! They had to finish the job and we got a new 35 year roof for free. Thank you Louisiana Roofing. |

The roof was perfectly fine. The fact that they replaced underlayment when it was not needed at all makes me wonder just how reputable they were to begin with. Would you pay a doctor who operated on your left knee if it was the right one that needed surgery? |

Had my sister not showed up, they'd have been finished and long gone, and we would not have known about the new roof at all. |

You got a free roof, they went above and beyond, and now you're dogging them. They got the wrong house. That's a mistake. But if the intended customer paid to have said underlaymemt replaced, I'm glad they replaced it regardless of what kind of shape it was in. That tells me there's potential they are reputable, just that they aren't good with navigation systems. But go ahead and talk bad about them on the internet. Good job. And btw, being a roofer doesn't require years of college. And isn't life threatening. You aren't financially responsible for the roof. The person that was supposed to get the roof is. The bill is btwn them and the roofing company. And as long as they get their roof, then they don't care about your rent house and the roofer. |

Have seen this happen before as well as the wrong color go on a few times. Costly error for sure! |
