Post RIP Mr. Butch Richenbach
Today we lost one of the best Call makers and calling instructors there has ever been. He was a true craftsman and call building pioneer. His ability to strip down call instructions to its simplest form has been rivaled by none. Teaching more world champions than any man or woman alive. His belief in producing one call that could do it all, was his belief, passion and the foundations of what RNT has been built on. His passion for calling and call building, will be sorely missed.

Harry Milton ”Butch” Richenback ~ July 11, 1947 – June 29, 2015

If you wanna have an awesome time and maybe stay in a room where children were conceived on one side and someone got stabbed over an 8-ball on the other come on down I got a can of raid. :D

Jim, I know you've tried every kind of call ever made, did Mr. Richenbach ever succeed in building the "do it all" call? Hopefully his passion is continued for many decades to come through the folks he inspired.

His "Old Style" was pretty hard to beat IMO.

Mr Butch was a great man annd friend. I definitely did not like getting that phone call earlier today. As JB said, Butch always made sure the kids were taken care of. I'm going to miss him. God Speed Mr Butch.

He was a good guy and helped me a lot with my competition calling. Duck calling lost a legend for sure.

I've been saying for a while that I need to go up and see him but haven't had a chance.

Talked to him during season to get some corks.

I have one of his inserts he gave me on my MVP and it will be passed on for years in my family.

I hope John keeps it going like Butch would've wanted to.

Going to be weird going in there and not see him behind that glass.

He will be missed but not forgotten.

Never had a chance to meet him, just talk to him over the phone. I got a mallard green timbre that he tuned up and signed. Super guy, prayers for his close friends and family.

He was a great guy that did a lot for the community and kids of all ages. The parking lot at the visitation looked like the parking lot at one of the boat ramps at Bayou Meto during duck season. Didn't make the funeral but I hear it was packed. Butch touched a lot of lives.
