So I've been wanting a hot rod for a while, that's main purpose is pavement pounding. I say this because my boat sees more land than it should. Just wanted to see what yall got. Me I've been wanting a fox body mustang forever, but can't find one for cheap enough. After long looking I found a 95 mustang ordered gts black 5.0 t5 car, but guy thought it was a 96 with motor transplant. Ending up getting a hell of a deal. Had to replace a window controller on driver side, new locks, and a lot of cleaning. Then buffed it today and it coming along. It is a 5.0 gt40 heads, gt40 upper and lower intake, e303, headers, 373 gears, short throw, and a bunch more. Car came with all receipts too. It's basically a hopped up cobra clone, although I hate the hood.

I really want a notch back Fox to put the motor setup out of my truck in. I've never fallen in love with that SN95 body style but the fox has always caught my eye. Tons and tons of suspension for them too. Whatever I end up building, it won't be Ford powered.

I hear ya on the fox, but to me I would have to have a notch. No way I would roll hatch, just hate them. The thing about the sn95, now you sway the suspension. The 03 cobra iws is a swap, and plan on going to manual front rack.

There's good stuff out for the SN's too. Looks it cleaned up pretty good.

The push rod motors are simple and cheap, that 4.6 is expensive

Yeah. I've never been impressed with the Hp/$ ratio on a mod motor. I've messed with GM LS stuff since about 2002. There's so much that can be done with bone stock parts it's ridiculous. I've built and tuned more than one stock bottom end setup that approached the 1000rwhp mark. They love boost and can take some real abuse with proper tuning. No matter what I end up doing It will be getting an LS based powerplant.

Nice looking ride. My son sold his 02 Mach 1 a few years back , so as to buy an F150 ecoboost. He bought the car while stationed at Ft.Hood from a local speed shop owner, with 375 to the ground it didn't like Wisconsin winters.

That was a good looking cobra JLACOUR, and only 14 k miles.
Mitch I bet it didn't like the snow, they are a handful in the rain too.

Had a nasty mess in the center console compartment, tried to get all the glue out, left plastic looking bad. I also hate rattling and I had some extra turf.
