I will let the pictures do their job. Please be warned if your looking to buy from borob. I was taken by this sale and he will no longer return my calls or text. I was sold a damaged engine that was never mention or discussed. At first glance I thought it was shipping damage until I pulled it apart and found paint over damage and brackets bent that could have only been the result of a rear end collision. He shipped me a belt housing and that was the last I have heard. Its a shame because he seamed like a stand up guy. I don't want someone else to loose out on hard earned money like I have. Im a family man and have no interest in speaking wrongfully of someone but have given every opportunity to make this right. I hope this helps keep things honest in the future.

Do you need a belt housing? I have a tall transom, just a housing and belt. I can't tell if yours is damaged or not. Shoot me a pm if you need it.

But that looks like a big crack above the bracket.

the dents on each side of that bracket are normal, but it looks to be cracked on the housing itself and thats definetly not right. the little small dents are normal tho. it happens when the motor is turned all the way and gets kicked up.

Sorry man..that's why I don't buy used if I can help it. You can't trust anyone these days. They had another dude on here the other day with a similar story.
