I even invited them to hunt with us, I wouldn't shoot and my two hunters with me would stand in the water in waders. We were very polite until they started getting very aggressive at which point I decided it would be best to call LaWF to whom I'd already sent a pin drop of my location. I had given LAWF notice that if i had a problem I would call a special number and send a pin drop. It worked like s champ. They were very quick to respond and confirmed that they would be ordering the young men to move on. It was at that point they left.

That was a dick move and another example of why I dislike people in general

I find it really interesting he picks those fights, instead of something that would actually do the world some good. Then calls for help, because he can't solve the issue peacefully any other way like a normal adult. He only ever intended to call the law and thinks he won and is righteous in his actions.

He get in a blind that somebody else took the time to build, then offers to let them hunt with them in a blind thats not his….What a great guy. Once again, let somebody else do all the work and take the credit…thats the democrat way.

If you claim a blind on WMA you will get a ticket it's fine to build them but don't claim it game wardens have been in people's blinds and they come up raising hell they burn that ASS.

I do not have a dog in this fight because we do not have permanent blinds but how is building a blind on public land any different than throwing your decoys out the night before to cut others off from a spot?

i guarantee the fucker went out and looked for a blind to get in just so he could call the laws and had every intention of doing just that. i would have let you have the spot but i guarantee i would have left with every piece of brush or whatever was there for hiding. you would have been hunting there with a bare boat. i dont own the spot on public land but i own the brush! then just to be a dick right back i would go whatever the legal yardage is away and rebuilt my blind and shoot at everything that came within 180 yards

I think you are missing the point. What happened just magnifies what kind of person you are. You are lucky you didn't run into someone that's as crazy as you are screwed up.

It's not about Knowing the law for most. It's about doing the fair & respectful thing that could also be referred to as good hunter etiquette. What you did was simply be an ass hole. Claiming a blind someone else put up and inviting them to hunt with you is stupid. Folks like you are what makes public hunting suck. And like RJ said, when I left your setup would stick out like a diamond in a goats ass because the brush and structure would be in my boat or underwater.

Just a question, but how was there a pin drop already sent, as stated from earlier post of the big man himself, if that was not where you intended to hunt in the first place? Bullshit like this is exactly why arkansas no longer allows permanent blinds on public land. And also, if those guys constructed the blind, how is it harassment if they chose to dismantle it and move it while yall are hunting, their choice right? but I forgot, can't handle shit like big men, have to call in backup when the goin gets tough. Seems like a going thing for the guy.

Good rule is to have a plan b that doesn't consist of taking over someone else blind after yours got wrecked. Sucks for you it happened that way but to take another guys blind on Opening Day is a dick move no matter what the law says.

What you said doesn't make sense at all. You say you were frustrated that people make multiple blinds to reserve spots. It wasn't until you were already in the blind when you found out the fact that they were making multiple blinds. Sounds like Plan B was someone else's blind all along to me.

It was illegal the moment you got into said permanent blind. If I were the guy I would called LDWF myself and reported hunters in the blind.

LDWF on that lake should take their air boat the day before and run them all over that will end all that BS

But by giving the law a heads up prior to the hunt, you went out with the intention of stirring shit up...I know I've never made a hunt and put the law on notice before I leave

Aftet this I'll no longer discuss that particular situation. I should have handled it differently especially on opening weekend. There were no malicious intentions behind my actions I simply chose the most convenient spot after i got bumped. The whole situation blew up on me because I'd actually met the other guy and our families are friends. Along with the stigma of being a dguidry. I do still believe that these blinds should not be constructed for the purpose of reserving a spot but that was not the time or place to prove it in a civilized way.
